Yolanda Diaz

Yolanda Diaz joined the firm of Carlos E. Sandoval, PA in 2022 where she has learned to complete various immigration petitions. Helping people is what she enjoys the most.

Yolanda holds 24 years of professional practice in her home country Venezuela, where she obtained her law degree in 1997. In addition, she obtained a master’s degree in International Criminal Law in 2012, as well as several diplomas related to International Constitutional Law, Human Rights, International. Moreover, she has taught legal courses in a University setting back in her in her home country Venezuela.

She has served as a Magistrate of the Judiciary position as Superior Judge in Civil, Commercial, Transit, Children and Adolescents Matters.
In addition, Yolanda has was the Rectory Judge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela until she decided to resign. She is an active member of the Venezuelan Bar Association and of the Interamerican Bar Association based in Washington D.C.

Yolanda has a human and spiritual dimension, as she prides herself in providing a helping hand to those in need. For more than ten years, she has participated in several social organizations and schools in the state of Trujillo, in Venezuela.

She is currently enrolled at St. Thomas University School of law in Florida, pursuing an LLM in Human Rights, and aspires to be attorney in the United States.
